Established in 2017, VYCC is a non-profit organization that seeks to help people from all different walks of life. With both an adult and student committee, we create an environment of social cooperation. VYCC is composed of an orchestra, choir, gallery, and four teams of volunteers.
The circle represents Earth. The three abstract people represent people from the countries we ought to help. The two hands represent God’s hands of love and helping hands – yours and mine. Philippians 2:1-5 says that we shall become one family, one heart and love one another with one mind and purpose, and the mind of Christ. The color green represents life.
VYCC helps people with disabilities (blind, deaf, developmental struggles), North Korean refugees, and orphans & refugees in mission fields. Funds are raised through student-held classical concerts, shoe drives, and art galleries.
